About the artist
Hello! I am Chelsea, the artist/writer known as Anfaeia. (Anfaeia is also one of my favorite characters in my very own comic) I am a self taught artist, and everything I do is drawn by hand. When I was a kid, anime was amazing to me. It was unlike any other cartoon, and I loved all the colors, expressions, and adventures they went on (whomever the anime was about.) I started drawing my own (I was always a creative little stinker.) It was so very hard for me to stay focused in reading an ordinary book, but I came to learn about comic books, manga, and graphic novels, and I could NOT put them down! I loved them so much, and they were so inspiring to me. Two of my absolute favorite artists are Haiyo Miyazaki and Stan Lee. I love the concept of realms, gods, angels, witches, wolves, pirates, fae and other mystical creatures and all sorts of fantasy. I love to sit around and day dream, listen to music for inspiration (I believe all arts go hand in hand for inspiring one another,) and draw all day creating adventures and misadventures of action, fantasy, and drama. I not only draw but create a whole other world with characters, images, emotions, and stories that people can relate to or not. I hope to become a famous published Graphic Novelist and Illustrator and author. (MAYBE even voice act one day?!) There is so much love, passion, and pride that goes into my work. About Anfaeia
My current work in progress started back in 2013 and was first published on a webcomic-hosting site in 2017, in 2022 they started removing episodes so i have been working really hard in order to make my own domain and to get this series published. The name of my series is Blade's Kiss. It is a Manga style series about a Girl named Roxiva Tsurista Roxi is a young girl eager to escape an unwanted arranged marriage. With encouragement from her grandmother she is urged to seek her destiny by finding relatives in Cylrodin. Marmi (Roxi's Grandmother) then gives her an heirloom necklace. However Roxiva's adventure takes an unexpected turn when she encounters the mysterious Kojyn, thrusting Roxiva into a thrilling misadventure teeming with a whirlwind of hired mercenaries, assassins, and pirate bounty hunters all in pursuit of her.
Anfaeia is the name i have chosen for this website to host my comic series. It is also my handle on just about every social network/platform so its easier to find me, not only is it my handle for almost every social out there but she is an Original Character (OC) I have created for the comic series Blade's Kiss, though she does not come into the story until later. This Character was an important milestone in my life, so she has special meaning to me and has been my guiding light through some of the darkest times in my life for example the 2020 pandemic, there was a time I couldn't use my right (dominant) arm or hand and through that time. I was unable to work on my Blade's Kiss series; so I started cosplaying her officially on "the clock app" in 2021, however the Blade's Kiss series has been in the works since 2013.
